Watching someone you love need more care can be overwhelming. We’ve been there ourselves, so we understand.
At Ageing With Grace we also know that working through Centrelink, DVA (Service Australia) and My Aged Care can add to this overwhelm.
Not only can we help you understand your care options, and guide you through each transition, our Accredited Aged Care Specialists can speak with these Government agencies on your behalf.

The starting point when you don’t even know what questions to ask.
You’ll understand your aged care options, likely costs, and how your financial and Centrelink position fits together, so you can make decisions without feeling rushed or confused.

A clear path forward with a tailored structure for you.
We’ll develop a personalised strategy that shows you what’s possible, costs, and any impact on finances and Centrelink, to easily compare pathways and choose confidently.
Best for: Families seeking tailored advice, projections, and guidance to move forward.
End-to-end support when you want the process handled for you.
We’ll coordinate and liaise with providers, Centrelink and professionals. We can support family conversations, review agreements, and stay with you throughout the whole process.
Best for: Families who want hands-on support and guidance through every stage.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, confused or frustrated about what to do when you or someone you love needs a greater level of care, you’re not alone.
Our experienced Aged Care Specialists are here to help.
While Ageing with Grace assists you in navigating the Aged Care process, our team of financial advisers at Story Wealth can support your medium to long term financial goals.
This is about living the life you’ve always dreamed, with a strategic personalised financial plan.
Costs vary depending on the type of care, personal circumstances and financial position. Government funding often contributes, but some fees may apply. Understanding costs early can help avoid stress and unexpected decisions later.
No. Many people receive support while continuing to live at home. The Aged Care Act in Australia supports ageing with care wherever possible, with services designed to maintain independence and quality of life for as long as it is safe to do so.
Eligibility is based on an assessment of care needs, not age alone. An independent assessment looks at health, mobility, daily living needs and safety to determine what level of support may be appropriate. Called an ACAT assessment, at Ageing with Grace we can support you through this process.
Care arrangements can be reviewed and adjusted as needs change. The Aged Care Act recognises that ageing is not static, and support should evolve to reflect changing health, capacity and personal preferences. We can stay on the path with you and step in again when things change.
It’s not unusual for families to see things differently, especially when emotions are high. Taking time to listen, slow decisions down where possible, and centre discussions on the older person’s preferences can help reduce tension and build unity. At Ageing With Grace we can facilitate calm and respectful family discussions.
